Wayne D. Belford, 56, Oblong, Illinois, died Saturday July 9, 2005 at 12:15 A.M. at his residence from cancer. He was born September 19, 1948 in South Chicago, Illinois and was the son of Wayne T. Belford and Mildred (Gunarrd) Belford. He was married to Diane Kronis who preceded him in death in 1982. On February 27, 1983 he married Larena Davis who survives. Wayne was a Restaurant Manager for several restaurants, Food Service Manager for Holiday Inn and a Salesman for several years. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Oblong, Illinois, Job Corp. Service, as well as a graduate of Bloom Township High School. Wayne’s hobbies included yard work, exterior Christmas decorations and he was cleaning something.

Wayne is survived by his wife Larena Belford; two sons and a daughter-in-law Wayne Belford Jr. and Richard & Chandra Belford; four daughters and three sons-in-laws Denise Belford, Tracy & Kurt McMahon, Tina & Brent Whitaker and Margaret & Migvel Arebalo; thirteen grandchildren; two brothers & sister-in-law James & Sheri Belford and David Belford; one sister Debra Belford; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Barbara & Auttie Decker; brother-in-law Larry Davis; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Preceding Wayne was his first wife and one daughter Nikki Stifle.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois
