McColpin, 84, Oblong, Illinois died Friday May 13, 2005 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Mary was born on November 18, 1920 in Palestine, Illinois and was the daughter of Orvie and Lula (Walton) Knoblett. On April 6, 1935 she married Carson D. McColpin and he preceded her is death on July 29, 1973. Mary worked for L. S. Heath & Sons in Robinson, Illinois retiring in 1983. Mary was a member of the Oblong Evangelical United Methodist Church, she was also a member of the Co-Workers Ladies group and assisted with funeral dinners at the church. Mary's hobbies included quilting and gardening. Surviving Mary is one son: Jim McColpin; one daughter: Susan Musgrave; three grandchildren: Todd & Marla Musgrave, Brad & Kim Musgrave & Jason Musgrave; five great-grandchildren; three sisters: Lois McColpin, Wilma & Bob Raney & Thelma Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded by her parents; husband; one son-in-law: David Musgrave; and three sisters: Violet Lucus, Edna Pittman and Jeanne Struble. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine, Illinois |
