Kenneth L. Ping, 84, Oblong, Illinois died Tuesday November 15, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Indiana. Kenneth was born on September 8, 1921 in Crawford County, Illinois and was the son of Olan L. and Flora (Biggs) Ping. On January 4, 1944 he married Juanita (Scott) and she survives. Kenneth was a retired grain farmer, farming South of Bellair all his life. Kenneth served in the U. S. Army during W. W. II with the 44th Tank Battalion. He served in the South Pacific and after the war he served in Japan for a short period of time. Kenneth's hobbies included fishing, hunting and bowling.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Juanita; two daugthers and sons-in-law, Cynthia & Gene Turner and Peggy Lee & Kevin Hornbuckle; two step grandchildren, Brent Turner and Gail Turner; one step great-grandson, Ryan Engel. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Rural Bellair, Illinois.
