James W. "Jimbo" McCullough, 51, Oblong, Illinois, died Tuesday January 4, 2005 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Jim was born on March 27, 1953 in Robinson, Illinois and was the son of J. R. & Lela L. (Wiman) McCullough. He was formerly married to Janet Maskaly-McCullough. Jim was Vice President of Crete Oil Company Inc. and was well known in the Oil Business. He was affiliated with the Crete Methodist Church in Crete, Illinois. Jim was a member of the Quail Creek Country Club, Illinois Oil & Gas Association. He graduated from Crete Monee High School, Class of 1971 and he also attended S. I. U. in Carbondale, Illinois. Jim loved to play golf.

Jim is survived by his parents J. R. & Lela McCullough; one son James Nicholas McCullough; one step son Joshua York; two brothers and sister-in-law Dr. Robert McCullough and John A. & Lynda McCullough; one sister and brother-in-law Gayle & John Fazzini and three nephews Jeffrey Meek, Dr. Douglas Meek and Austin McCullough.

Following the service Mr. McCullough will be cremated with burial in the Oblong Cemetery at a later date.
