Kevin J. Hinterscher, 44, Oblong, Illinois died Monday, August 1, 2005 from natural causes at work. Kevin was born in Oblong, Illinois on November 5, 1960 and was the son of Floyd A. & Mildred (Buerster) Hinterscher. On February 4, 2003, he married Michele (Pool) and she survives. Kevin worked at the Boiler House eight years at Marathon Oil Refinery in Robinson, Illinois. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Oblong. Kevin was an avid Cardinals fan and liked to travel.

Survivors included his wife, Michele, mother, Mildred Hinterscher, one step-son, J. J. Murphy, two step-daughters, Mandi Murphy & soon to be step-son-in-law, Dana Lindley and Ashley Gangloff, three brothers and sister-in-law, Tom Hinterscher, Ron & Jeanne Hinterscher and Tim Hinterscher, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan & Doug Long, Rita & Keith Wirey and Tammy & Dave Jaben, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Stan & Glenda Pool, several nieces and nephews, one great niece and two great nephews.

Preceding Kevin was his father and one sister, Diane Hinterscher.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
