Helen M. Cummins, 83, Oblong, Illinois died Monday, April 18, 2005 at the Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson, Illinois. Helen was born on April 13, 1922 in Oblong, Illinois and was the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth (Harmon) Riser. On May 31, 1941 she married Glenn E. Cummins and he preceded her in death on October 21, 1991. Helen was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Oblong, Illinois. Helen enjoyed yard work - flower beds and she loved to mow her yard.

Surviving Helen is one son and daughter-in-law, Larry & Phyllis Cummins; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann & Larry Littlejohn; three grandchildren, Alissa Cummins & Fiance J. R. Mehler, Celeste & Eric Sorenson and Beth Littlejohn; two great-grandchildren, Kayleh Correll and Sage Sorenson; two sisters-in-law, Loren Postlewait and Helen Shotts; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Helen were her parents; husband; one daughter: Carol Cummins; and three brothers: Fred, Denzel & Elmer Riser.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois
