Grace Walters, 94, Oblong, Illinois died Monday, April 11, 2005 at the Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, Illinois. Grace was born on August 18, 1910, in Stoy, Illinois and was the daughter of Samuel David and Lula (Wallace) Holler. On October 29, 1932, Grace married Roscoe F. "Dos" Walters and he preceded her in death on February 21, 1997. Grace was a homemaker, she also worked for Continental Casualty Insurance Company in Chicago, Illinois and later as a tax accountant in the Crawford County Treasurer's Office, Robinson, Illinois. She was affiliated with Central United Methodist Church, Oblong, Illinois. Grace was a member of the Jasper County Garden Club, Oblong Book Club and 20th Century Club in Oblong. She assisted many years with 4-H groups - mainly with sewing projects. Her hobbies included flowers and gardening.

Grace is survived by one sister, Caroline Harmon; several nieces and nephews.

Grace is preceded by her parents; husband; one brother: Cecil; two sisters: Ethel Stiles & Mary Katz and one brother-in-law: Ezra Harmon.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois
