Dorothy Imogene Chronic, 77, Lawrenceville, Illinois formerly of Oblong, Illinois passed away on Friday April 1, 2005 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville, IL.

Born July 10, 1927 in Oblong, Illinois, she was the daughter of Fred LaRue Patterson and Florence Viola (Appleton) Patterson. On August 17, 1946, she married Homer W. Chronic who survives. Imogene was a homemaker and ward Clerk at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois for 10 years. Imogene was a member of Crawford County Christian Center, Robinson, Illinois and a former member of Central United Methodist Church, Oblong, Illinois. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and sang in the church choir and Sunday school teacher.

Imogene is survived by her husband Homer; two grandchildren Jason William Chronic and Jeri Lea Chronic; one great grandson Dillon Lawhead, niece Brandi Myers and two great nieces.

Imogene parents, one son Fred Jerome Chronic and a half sister Deloris Higgins preceded her in death.

Burial of cremains will be in Oblong Cemetery
