William E. "Bill" Alspach 69, Palestine, Illinois died Wednesday May 5, 2004 at his son's residence. Bill was born on October 17, 1934 in Crawford County, Illinois and was the son of Edgar & Sylvia (Lorrance) Alspach. Bill was a steel worker for U.S. Steel in Gary, Indiana then worked for several area oil companies. Bill was a regular coffee drinker at McDonald's & Hardee's. His hobbies included doing yard work and working on cars.

Surviving Bill is one son and daughter-in-law: Brad & Janice Alspach; one brother and sister-in-law: Lawrence & Doris Alspach; two sisters: Helen Alspach & Linda Alspach, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and one sister-in-law: Gale Alspach.

Preceding Bill in death were his parents and one brother: Gordan LaRue "Slim" Alspach.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery.
