Virgil Reynolds 90, Yale, Illinois died Sunday February 22, 2004 at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, Illinois. Virgil was born on September 18, 1913 in Carlyle, Illinois and was the son of Matt & Susie (Paul) Reynolds. On July 9, 1939, Virgil married Dorothy (Meeks) and she survives. Virgil worked twenty years as a pumper in the oil fields for Forrest Oil Company and he was a member of the Yale Methodist Church in Yale, Illinois.

Surviving Virgil is his wife Dorothy, four sons and daughters-in-law: Donald & Elaine Reynolds, Kenneth & Maria Reynolds, Virgil C. & Kaye Reynolds and Bobby & Sue Reynolds; six daughters and sons-in-law: Dorothy & Terry Goble, Alice & Onnie Daiz, Sharon & Rick Goldman, Margaret Goble, Opal & Roger Keys and Virginia Robinson; one daughter-in-law: Judy Reynolds; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Hazel Clark & Faye Haines and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Virgil in death were his parents, one son: Ronald Reynolds, one brother: Virl Reynolds, two sisters: Mae Snell & Blanche Kelly and two great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
