Twilo Smith 96, Monroe, Ohio formerly of Oblong, Illinois died Monday January 26, 2004 at the Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village in Monroe, Ohio. Twilo was born on December 7, 1907 in Wanatah, Indiana and was the daughter of Ira Clayton "Jack" & Emma Adeline (Weisjahn) Cites. On January 15, 1927 Twilo married Kenneth Smith and he preceded her in death. She was a receptionist for the Oblong Clinic. She was a member of the Oblong First Christian Church and the Eastern Star.

Surviving Twilo is one son and daughter-in-law: Charles R. "Chuck" & Sharon Smith, one grandson: Kurt (Wendy) Smith, one great-granddaughter: Kristen Beck and one sister: Dorothy Lindgreen.

Preceding Twilo in death were her parents, husband, one granddaughter: Tracy Lynn Beck, three sisters and two brothers.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois
