Marjorie Yockey, 76, Oblong, Illinois, died Friday April 23, 2004 at Cotillion Ridge Care Center in Robinson, Illinois. Marjorie was born August 13, 1927 in Lawrenceville, Illinois and was the daughter of Josephus Caudle and Mary Emily (Dickerson) Caudle. On August 28, 1948, Marjorie married Virgil "Wayne" Yockey who preceded her in death on September 28, 2003. Marjorie was a cafeteria cook at the Hammond Indiana City Schools retiring in 1992. Marjorie was a member of First Baptist Church - Oblong and she loved to cook and serve food.

Marjorie is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Robert L. & Marilyn Yockey; daughter and son-in-law Linda & Tim Flener; nine grandchildren Adam & Heather Yockey, Laura Yockey; Caleb Yockey, Julie Yockey, Bethany & Jeremiah Mitchell, John Wilson and Rebekah and Ruth-Ann Wilson; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Marjorie's parents; husband; one brother Gail Caudle and one sister Pauline Moore precede her in death.

Burial will be Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois.
