Lloyd Otis Stagner, 83, Robinson, Illinois, died Wednesday September 15, 2004 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Lloyd was born in Martin Township, Crawford County, Illinois on November 29, 1920 and was the son of Walter A. Stagner and Margaret I. (Wartsbaugh) Stagner. On May 7, 1945, he married Margie I. (Gaubatz), who died October 27, 2000. Lloyd was a farmer and a member of the Baptist church. He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the Coast Guard in the North Atlantic. He was a 60 year member and Past Master of the Hardinville Masonic Lodge, member of the E. M. Coulter American Legion Post # 69, Robinson, Oblong V.F.W. Post # 10635, Embraw Valley C. B. Club, one of the Founders of the Hardinville Water Company, and Past Board Member of First Crawford State Bank. Lloyd's hobbies included being a member of the National Carnival Glass Association, an aviator, traveling in his RV, boating, hunting and fishing.

Lloyd is survived by three daughters and sons-in-laws Judy & Mike Henry, Kathy & Jack Chamblin and Patsy Ireland; seven grandchildren

Brian & Tara Neidigh, Joe & Lisa Neidigh, Kim & Gary Jansen, Doug & Lynn Neidigh, Todd & Beth Henry, Kristi & Danny Schaffner and Shawn Chamblin; thirteen great grandchildren; sister Norman Jean Miles; Special Companion Lucy Higgs, and special friends Mike & Patricia Higgs, Mark & Sonya Higgs and Don & Judy Skeens.

Lloyd's parents precede him in death.

Burial will be in Shire Cemetery south of Stoy, Illinois with Military Rites by a combined unit from the Oblong and Robinson American Legion Posts.
