Ida I. Mouser, 83, Cypress, Texas formerly of Oblong, Illinois died Tuesday July 6, 2004 at the Houston Hospice, in Houston, Texas following a long period of poor health. Ida was born in Oblong, Illinois on March 7, 1921 and was the daughter of Irvin and Agnus (Michl) Harris.

On September 18, 1937 Ida married Howard O. Mouser and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2003. Ida was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Seed Chapel United Methodist Church and the Gem City Club, she also was a volunteer at the United Methodist Village. Ida's hobbies included gardening, flowers and cooking.

Ida is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Jerry & Bev Mouser; five grandchildren Jeff & Candi Mouser, Christi Amalfi, Bradley & Janie Donnelly, Brent Donnelly and Shawn & Debbie Donnelly; eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-laws Gene & Mary Harris, Frank & Monica Harris and Harold Harris; one sister Bernice Henry; several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, one daughter: Donna Donnelly; three sisters: Esther Cox, Edna Yetter & Belva Yetter preceded her in death.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
