William Gene "Bill" Moore, 58, Robinson, IL. died Thursday October 28, 2004 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, from injuries sustained in an auto accident . Bill was born in Vincennes, Indiana on January 17, 1946 and was the son of Vermont Moore and Vivian (Deckard) Moore. On October 18, 1969, he married Normella Novakoski, who died December 10, 2003. Bill was a former police officer for the Vincennes, Indiana and Robinson, Illinois Police Departments. He was also a sheriff's deputy for the Crawford County Sheriff Department. He had last worked in the powder room at Fair Rite Corporation, Robinson, Illinois. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army ranked as an E5 Military Policeman, stationed in Germany. His hobby was collecting and selling collectables and junk.

Bill is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law Monty Moore and Dustin & Roseann Moore; two brothers and sisters-in-law James & Dottie Moore and Robert & Connie Moore; one sister and brother-in-law Marsha & Chuck Ireland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws Stanley B. & Becky Novakoski, William & Nancy Novakoski and Anthony W. "Tony" Novakoski; sisters-in-laws and brother-in-laws Stanetta J. Novakoski and Dorena & Don Beckerman; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill's parents; wife; one brother Steve Moore; Parents-in-law Stanley "Sarge" & Norma J. (Becktell) Novakoski; two brothers-in-laws Larry Dean and Edward Eugene Novakoski and his step father Frank Paul all preceded him in death.

Burial will be in Kirk Chapel Cemetery with full military rites conducted by

Oblong American Legion Post #219.
