Ada Kathryn Sharrett, 83, Forsyth, Illinois formerly of Sun City, Arizona, Robinson and Oblong, Illinois died Saturday December 25, 2004 at the Imboden Creek Living Center, Decatur, Illinois. Ada was born on August 12, 1921 in Sumner, Illinois and was the daughter of Lawrence and Ella (Dowell) Berkshire. On October 4, 1941, Ada married Doyle Vincent Sharrett and he preceded her in death on December 8, 1998. Ada was Co-Owner of Jade Oil Company, Robinson, Illinois. She was a member of the First Chirstian Church Sun City, Arizona and former member of the Oblong First Christian Church. Ada was also a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Society. Her hobby was her rose garden.

Ada is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Jerry & Kay Sharrett; one daughter and son-in-law Janice & Bud Wise; six grandchildren J. D. Sharrett, Laura Sharrett, Melissa & Mike Stone, Annissa & Kevin Williams, Matthew & Michelle Russell & Stephanie Wise; four great-grandchildren Ashtin Plew, Michaela Stone, Alicia & Keegan Williams; four sisters Rosella & Gene Lewis, Miriam Baltzell, Margaret Wolfe & Carol Starkman; several nieces, nephews & friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois
