Mina Siler 95 Oblong, Illinois died Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at the Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, Illinois. Mina was born on May 19, 1908 in Jasper County, Illinois and was the daughter of Charlie & Rena (Stifle) Hargis. Mina was married to Paul Olvey; Dr. Homer Marshall then to Addie Siler all three husbands preceded her in death. Mina was a retired telephone operator in Oblong, former owner of the Hi-Way Café in Oblong, former owner of a laundry in the basement of what is now Terry's Flowers, worked at Cortelyou's during WWII. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Oblong, Illinois. Her hobbies included sewing, baking and cooking (which she usually gave away).
Mina is survived by three nephews Loran & Katie Robinson, Eugene & Doris Hargis and Jerry & Yvonne Hargis; one niece Madeline Calvert; four step-children Mary & Harold Wheeler, Wayne & Joan Donaldson, Norma Ferguson and George & Ellen Donaldson;

Several step-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law Isabell Siler & Mary Robinson; several great, great-great & great-great-great nieces and nephews; very good friends and care givers Jerry & Lee Stephens.

Her parents, three brothers Rexil, Forest & Milo Hargis and one sister Letha Robinson precede Mina.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
