Michael L. "Mick" Cravens 62 Ste. Marie passed away Sunday, January 26, 2003 at his residence following a long period of poor health. Mick was born April 2, 1940 in Crawford County, Illinois and was the son of Ralph and Sylvia (Shryock) Cravens. He married Linda (Maus) and then on December 24, 1993 he married Ann (Moran) Ping. Mick worked 21 years for Pepsi in Robinson, Illinois in sales and delivery, Emro Gas Company for a short time and then was a truck driver for Schneider National, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the V. F. W. Memorial Fund Member Post #4549, Robinson, Illinois Sons of American Legion Post #932 Ste. Marie, IL and the Elk's Lodge #1188, Robinson, Illinois. Mick played in the band "Kountry Kousins" for many years, he was affiliated with the First Christian Church in Oblong, Illinois and his hobbies included music, golf and bowling.

Mick is survived by his wife Ann, one son Tom Cravens; one daughter and son-in-law Terri Lynn and Steve Hill; one step-son Brian and Michelle Ping; mother-in-law and father-in-law Ada Mae and George Moran; three grandchildren Jay and Matt Hill and Bayley Ping; three sisters and brother-in-law Donna and Roger Bomer, Elaine Vail and Cynthia Cravens; sister-in-law Daisey "Sam" Cravens; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law John and Carolyn Moran & Joe and Cindy Moran; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Mary Jo Moran and Janice & Ron Kinder; first wife Linda Cravens; several nieces, nephews, relatives and many, many wonderful friends and neighbors. Mick is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Forest "Frosty" Cravens and one nephew Chad Cravens.
