Mary Josephine Jarboe, 96, Oblong, Illinois, formerly of Campbellsville, Kentucky died Monday October 20, 2003 at her daughter's home in Oblong, Illinois. Josephine was born October 21, 1906 in Green County, Kentucky and was the daughter of George Miller and Cleo (Cobb) Miller. On May 24, 1930, she married Marion Jarboe, who died September 17, 1983. Josephine worked for years at the Campbellsville Cleaners and was a bill collector in Campbellsville. She was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. Josephine moved to Oblong after her husband's death in November 1983. She loved crocheting.

Josephine is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Jo and Richard "Doc" Wilton; two grandsons Dr. William M. & Jean Wilkin and James C. & Silvana Wilkin; seven great grandchildren Courtney, Andrew, Mary Colleen, Quinn, Sarah, Katherine and Jacob Wilkin; also surviving are several nieces and a nephew.

Josephine's parents, husband and five brothers David, Richard, Frank, Buckner and Hugh Miller preceded her in death.

Burial was in Brookside Cemetery, Campbellsville, Kentucky.
