Lucy J. Mc Quality 91 Oblong, Illinois passed away Thursday, March 6, 2003 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, Illinois. Lucy was born in Clark County, Illinois on January 7, 1912 and was the daughter of Lucy Jane Doty. February, l948 Lucy married Richard Schaffer, who preceded her in death in April, l969. In 1970 Lucy married Clarence Mc Quality, who preceded her in death in 1972. Lucy and her first husband started Schaffer Electric, Oblong, IL in 1955, she retired as a cook at the H & H Restaurant in Dade City, FL. Lucy was baptized at the Bible Chapel Church, rural Robinson and later became a member of the Prior Grove Baptist Church rural Oblong, IL.

Lucy is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Dean & Betty Siverly; half brother: Kenneth Reed; half sister: Maude Snelling; six grandchildren: Greg & Lisa Siverly, Doug Siverly, Todd Siverly, Janice Robinson, Jane & Bill Lewis and Terry Akers; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, three sons, one grandson: Mark Siverly and one great-grandson: Randy Robinson.

Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery, Clark County, Illinois.
