Lena Louise Higginbotham, 74, Robinson, IL. formerly of Oblong, IL. died Thursday February 6, 2003 at her residence. Louise was born June 18, 1928, in Oblong, Illinois and was the daughter of Allen Sanders and Nettie (Weck) Sanders. On September 3, 1949, she married Don Higginbotham who died August 30, 2002. Louise had worked on the production line at Victor Dana Reinz in Robinson. She was also a member of the E. M. Coulter American Legion Auxiliary Post # 69 – Robinson.

Louise is survived by two sons and daughters-in-laws Bob & Sheila Higginbotham and Tony & Darla Higginbotham; two daughters Donna Jones and Janice Keller. seven grandchildren Tony Higginbotham, Jessica Higginbotham, Mandy (Jones) Hale, Todd Jones, Robbie Higginbotham, Kara Higginbotham and Dustin Keller; two great grandchildren Blake Hale and Brenda Hale; three brothers and sisters-in-law Paul & Darlene Sanders, Junior Sanders and David & Jill Sanders; four sisters and brother-in-law Dot Hershey, Jo & Don Carter, Margaret Shaffer and Kate Murphy.

Preceding Louise in death were her parents, two brothers (Floyd & Carl Sanders), half brother (Ralph Musgrave), two sisters (Ethel Lyons & Ruth Bruner), half sister Marie Ikemire.

Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery.
