Kenneth R. "Kenny" Bell 70 Oblong passed away Monday May 19, 2003 at Methodist Hospital. Indianapolis, Indiana. Kenny was born February 4, 1933 in Terre Haute, Indiana and was the son of Henry & Oleta Marie (Baker) Bell. Kenny received his Bachelors Degree from Western Illinois University, Macomb, Illinois. He worked with the Civil Service (GS12) Grade serving all over the world for all branches of the military service. Kenny served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Philippine Sea Aircraft Carrier, was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Irving Masonic Lodge #455 AF & AM Irvin, IL. 25 year member, lifetime member of the Crawford County V.F.W. Post #4549 Robinson, Illinois and was a member of the American Legion, Ste. Marie, Illinois.

Kenneth is survived by three sons: Kenneth M. & Sandy Bell, Larry Scott Bell & Kim Bradley Bell; one daughter: Karen Lynn Bell; four grandchildren: Dylan Bell, Dalton, Kinda & Cassidy Shadle; one sister and brother-in-law: Nila & Gene Hall; one nephew: Warren Hall and Kenny's companion for several years: Peggy Watson. Kenny is preceded by his parents and an infant brother.

Military rites will be conducted by Ste. Marie American Legion Post #932 at the cemetery.

Burial will be in the Keplinger Cemetery, Landes, Illinois.
