Dorothy L. (Kessler) Allison 84 Oblong, Illinois died Sunday April 13, 2003 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center in Robinson, Illinois. Dorothy was born October 31, 1918 in Crawford County, Illinois and was the daughter of Amos Eli and Mary B. (Stroup) Alspach. On July 14, 1937 Dorothy married Arthur Kessler. On November 11, l961 Dorothy married Wilbur Allison and he preceded her in death. Dorothy worked as a bundler for Victor Dana in Robinson, Illinois. She was a member of the Hardinville Christian Church, Hardinville, Illinois. Dorothy's hobbies included sewing, cooking, her grandchildren, reading and quilting.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Rowena & Bill Larrabee; one granddaughter Shanna & Eddy Mehler; one grandson Monte Larrabee; two great-grandsons: Tres and Koert Mehler.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Romona Bailey; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Earnest & Nina Alspach and Abe & Sylvia Alspach.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois
