Catherine Rose Bradbury 87, Oblong, Illinois died Thursday November 13, 2003 at her residence. Catherine was born March 28, 1916 in Bloomington, Indiana and was the daughter of Claude Franklin and Maggie (Ridge) Gillaspie. In March of 1980, Catherine married Eugene "Gene" Bradbury and he survives. Catherine worked at Victor Dana in the Gasket Department until she retired in 1978 she was also a homemaker. Catherine was a member of the Prior Grove Baptist Church, rural Oblong, Illinois. Her hobbies included cooking and gardening.

Surviving Catherine is her husband Eugene "Gene" Bradbury, four sons and daughters-in-law: Elman "Buck" & Barbara Reynolds, Howard Peter, Boomer & Ruth Ann Pimentel and Bobby Masters; six daughters and son-in-law: Norma Hacker, Anna Mae Clark, Ramona & Herschel Noblit, Kathleen Hodges & fiancé Thomas Smithenry, Anna Dorn and Alicia Hyde; twenty four grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Ernie & Mary Lou Minnick; two sisters and brother-in-law: Claudia McCammon and Ida & Bob Stout; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Catherine in death were her parents, four husbands, one grandson: Billy Watson, one son-in-law: Bill Hodges, four brothers: Floyd, Robert, Wesley and Eddy Ray, two sisters: Dorothy & Edna.

Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Rural Jasper County.
