Burchard P. Shain 66, Oblong, Illinois died Wednesday September 24, 2003 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Burchard was born on October 19,1936 Brentwood, Missouri. He was the son of Thomas L. & Cordia (Harrold) Shain. When he was able, Burchard attended Church of the Nazarene in Robinson, Illinois.

Burchard's family was the staff and residents of the CILA home in Oblong.

Burchard in preceded by his parents, one brother: Harold Shain.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
