Betty E. Miller 64 Oblong passed away Wednesday March 26, 2003 at Crawford Memorial Hospital Robinson, Illinois. Betty was born September 14, 1938 in Hunt City Twp. Jasper County, Illinois and was the daughter of Henry and Mildred (Richards) McCleave. On June 8, 1957 Betty married John H. Miller. She was a custodian at the Oblong Grade School for 30 years - retiring in 1998 because of health problems. Betty was a member of the White Oak

Church, rural Oblong, Illinois and her hobbies included flower gardening and her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her husband John; her mother Mildred; three sons and daughters-in-law:

Johnny & Debi Miller, Mike & Kathy Miller and Gary & Diana Miller; six grandchildren: Darby Miller, Danielle Miller, Samantha Miller, Jacob Miller, Elizabeth Miller & Michael Miller; two brothers and sister-in-law: Bill & Catherine McCleave and Bob McCleave; one sister: Judy McCleave; and two nephews: Terry McCleave & Billy McCleave. She is preceded in death by her father.
